Our relationship with our students continues well past graduation.
Whether you just earned your degree or graduated years ago, we count you as a valued alumnus of the Department of Art and Design. As a graduate of our programs, we hope you will visit often and consider Montclair State to be part of your extended home.
Much has been happening in our Department over the years and in recent months, including new and expanded academic programs, exciting Art Forum speaker events and robust exhibitions in our award-winning George Segal Gallery — all of which provide good reasons for returning to campus.
Apart from our Department events, Montclair State ‘s Peak Performances offers an eclectic array of events that bring a unique, experimental dimension to our offerings.
There are so many benefits to being a Montclair State alum. Visit the Alumni Relations webpage to learn about alumni consumer discounts, career support, networking opportunities, and admission to special events. And, of course, when you come onto campus, be sure to visit the Department of Art & Design.
In the meantime, see what your fellow alumni have been up to… and please update us on what you’re doing too!
Giving to the Department of Art and Design
There are many opportunities to support the Department of Art and Design — whether by representing your alma mater at a college fair, offering an internship to a currently-enrolled student, or helping us create scholarships. We are grateful to alumni who are able to give of their time, talents or treasure – but equally important, for the examples they set through their professional success.
Creating an Art & Design Scholarship
Some of our students can only attend college through the aid of scholarships. If you are able to do so, one of the most meaningful gifts you can give is the opportunity to share the wonderful experience you had as a University student by providing tuition assistance to another student. If you would be interested in donating to an existing scholarship or would like to create one of your own, please call our Development Office at 973-655-7298 or visit the College of the Arts Giving Opportunities page for information.
